Pre-code Hollywood feminism. A powerful single woman goes her own way in business, and in bed. That is until she finally meets the "right man." TRIVIA: The swimming pool is from the "By a Waterfall" production number in "Footlight Parade." In fact, while this film isn't a musical, it is replete with snatches of tunes from Busby Berkeley musicals. Warner Brothers sure knew how to save a buck, and at the same time push their products.
